Plate by Plate and Sake in the Park 2025 Giveaway Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Void where prohibited by law.
1. PROMOTION PERIOD. ATB 2024 Contest Rules (the “Promotion”) begins at 12pm PT on July 2, 2025, (the “Promotion Period”) and ends 11:59pm PT on July 9, 2025.
2. ELIGIBILITY. The Promotion is open only to those who are twenty-one (21) years of age and older as of July 9, 2025 and located in the United States. See each prize description for details. Members of Project by Project or employees of Little Tokyo Service Center CDC (“LTSC”) and their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, agencies, contractors, consultants, representatives, and the immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each) of and/or persons living in the same household as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
3. PRIZE DESCRIPTION. One (1) winners will win one (1) GA admission each to Plate by Plate Los Angeles 2025. One (1) winner will win one (1) admission to Sake in the Park 2025. Total ARV of all prizes is approximately $365. Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and all fees, costs and expenses relating to acceptance and use of any prize not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the individual prize winner. Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsors reserve the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion. Sponsors will not replace any lost or stolen prizes after delivery to the winner. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Only the number of prizes stated herein are available to be awarded.
4. PARTICIPATION. During the Promotion Period, participants must (a) follow @pbpla and @sake_festival_la on Instagram, and (b) like the post, and (c) tag a friend. The participant’s profile must be public to be eligible to win. Each friend tagged equals one submission for entry.
5. ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY. Participants may also enter the Promotion by completing a form here. All such requests must be submitted by the last day of the Promotion Period and received prior to the drawing. All entries submitted will not be acknowledged or returned. Limit one entry per person, regardless of method of entry. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void such entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Proof of submission of entry does not constitute proof of receipt of entry. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned to the entrants.
6. SELECTION AND VERIFICATION OF WINNER. Within one week of the end of the Promotion Period, sponsors will select two potential prize winners through a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winners will be notified by private message through his or her email account within one (1) day after being selected. Except where legally prohibited, each potential winner must complete, within twenty-four (24) hours of being notified, an additional form for more information and a release in order to claim his/her prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted twenty-four (24) hours after the first attempt to contact him/her, or if he/she fails to complete and return the request for more information within the required time period (if applicable), or if potential winner is not available to accept delivery of the prize, or in the event that a potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsors will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Up to three alternate drawings will be held, after which any remaining prizes will remain un-awarded.
Verification of Potential Winners: All potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsors whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. An entrant is not a winner of any prize unless and until entrant’s eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsors’ failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsors or anyone acting on their behalf will not enter into any communications with any entrant regarding this Promotion, except as expressly set forth in these Official Rules. Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, and/or the legitimate operation of the Promotion; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. Sponsors and their agents are not responsible for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Promotion, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Promotion, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsors, at their discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupt or affect the operation, administration, security, fairness,integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsors may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and (a) cancel or terminate the Promotion(or any portion thereof) and award the prize(s) at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment or (b) modify the Promotion or suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules.
8. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT SPONSORS, META, FACEBOOK, INC., INSTAGRAM, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, REPRESENTATIVES,CONSULTANTS, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, LEGAL COUNSEL, ADVERTISING, PUBLIC RELATIONS,PROMOTIONAL, FULFILLMENT AND MARKETING AGENCIES, WEB SITE PROVIDERS, WEBMASTERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES,AND AGENTS (“THE RELEASED PARTIES”) WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH,OR PROPERTY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE, OR USE OF THE PRIZE, ENTRY, OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION OR IN ANY PROMOTION RELATED ACTIVITY, OR ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR INVASION OF PRIVACY, OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE AWARDED DUE TO INTERRUPTIONS DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, ACTS OF WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS, WEATHER, OR TERRORISM. WITHOUT LIMITING THEREFORE GOING, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS PROMOTION, INCLUDING ALL PRIZES AND ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION, ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY. CHECK LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS.
9. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION CONSTITUTES EACH WINNER’S GRANT TO SPONSORS (WHICH GRANT WILL BE CONFIRMED IN WRITING ON REQUEST OF SPONSORS), ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, RELATED ORGANIZATIONS, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND THOSE ACTING PURSUANT TO ITS AUTHORITY, THE RIGHT AND PERMISSION TO PRINT, PUBLISH, BROADCAST, AND USE, WORLDWIDE IN ANY MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER DEVELOPED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WORLD WIDE WEB, AT ANY TIME OR TIMES, EACH WINNER’S NAME, PORTRAIT, PICTURE, VOICE, LIKENESS, OPINIONS AND BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HOMETOWN AND STATE) FOR ADVERTISING, TRADE, AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES (INCLUDING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HIS OR HER NAME ON TELEVISION OR RADIO BROADCAST) WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION, COMPENSATION, PERMISSION, OR NOTIFICATION. ENTRANTS AGREE THAT SPONSORS SHALL OWN THE ENTRIES, WHICH WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED OR RETURNED, AND THAT SPONSORS AND ITS DESIGNEES SHALL HAVE THE PERPETUAL, WORLDWIDE RIGHT TO EDIT, PUBLISH, AND USE THE ENTRIES IN ANY WAY AND IN ANY MEDIA FOR TRADE, ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONAL,AND/OR OTHER PURPOSES AS SPONSORS AND/OR ITS DESIGNEES MAY DETERMINE WITHOUT FURTHER CONSIDERATION TO ENTRANTS OR ANY THIRD PARTY.
10. APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION. This Promotion and these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions. The invalidity or enforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. All disputes arising out of or connected with this Promotion will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket damages (excluding attorneys’ fees) associated with participation in this Promotion and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages. These rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued in accordance with law by a duly authorized representative of Project by Project.

13. WINNERS LIST. A complete copy of these Official Rules can be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Project by Project, 1145 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017, or by emailing a request to marketing.la@projectbyproject.org. To learn the winners, any person may mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Project by Project, 1145 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017 with Attn: Winners List - PbP 2025 Giveaway. All such requests must be received within thirty (30) days of the last day of the Promotion Period.
