Before you proceed to register for an event or purchase tickets, we strongly recommend you to go through the following terms and conditions.
Terms & Conditions
"You" means You as the holder of this Ticket. "Your" shall be read accordingly.
"Event" means the Event as stated on Your Ticket.
"Ticket" means any ticket You use to gain entrance to the Event. "Ticket(s)" shall be read accordingly.
"Venue" means the venue where the Event is held.
Project by Project NY reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions - without any prior notifications to You. Such changes will be reflected on the website (https://www.projectbyproject.org/ny-events-terms-and-conditions).
By opting to purchase, allocate or possess Ticket(s) to any Events hosted by Project by Project NY, You automatically agree to Project by Project NY’s terms and conditions. If You do not agree with the clauses as listed below or do not agree with the risk allocations mentioned here, please do not purchase Ticket(s) or try to enter the Venue.
All applicants for Ticket(s) acknowledge and agree that Ticket(s), as well as admission to the Event, shall be granted in the Project by Project NY’s sole discretion. Project by Project NY, at their sole discretion, reserves the right to take any immediate action deemed necessary and appropriate, including refusing admission to or ejecting any person from the Event without refund or refusing to allow future admittance to Project by Project NY or its affiliates’ events for behaving dangerously or inappropriately. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to, harassment or discrimination, physical or verbal abuse, unwanted touching or remarks of a sexual or intimate nature (including unwelcome comments about someone’s body or personal appearance), irresponsible drinking, attendance at the Event while under the influence of illegal drugs, or the like. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, verbal comments intended to humiliate or belittle, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate or uninvited physical contact, unwelcome attention, or the like. Admission and security representatives of Project by Project NY and/or Venue reserve the right to refuse entry and to eject anyone from the Event, without limitation, for safety and health reasons.
Project by Project NY reserves the right to conduct security searches and to refuse admission to You, or eject You from the Venue, should You refuse to comply with such security measures. Project by Project NY reserves the right to confiscate any item which, in their reasonable opinion, may cause danger or disruption at the Event. ID checks will be carried out upon entry to the Event.
Project by Project NY does not take any responsibility to personal/financial damages caused to You at the Venue, or for any items lost/stolen/misplaced at the Venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained.
Project by Project NY follows a common ‘zero-tolerance policy’ towards unauthorized drug usage or carrying at the Venue, AND towards any type of behavior/actions that can be interpreted as lewd or obscene. If You are found in possession of prohibited items at an Event and/or if You indulge in any objectionable action, Your participation in the Event will be terminated immediately. Your Event Ticket(s) will become void from that point on.
If an Event is canceled due to any factors or causes not in the control of Project by Project NY, the latter will offer a partial or full refund, or postpone the Event, or provide a comparable ‘make good’ option. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to, natural disasters, federal/state announcements, strikes, delays in production, and the like. Once again, the decision of Project by Project NY will be considered final.
If an Event has to be rescheduled to other dates, You will not be eligible for any refunds. In case the Event is fully canceled, the refund, if issued, will include ONLY the face value/printed value of the Ticket(s). The bearer cannot, under any circumstances, claim refunds on shipping fees, processing fees, handling fees, and such other charges.
