On Friday, April 24, Project by Project Los Angeles Steering Committee members helped promote and support the 2015 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. As a community partner, PbP-LA introduced Ken Jeong and Jennifer Phang's new drama, Advantageous, at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center.
The film, set in the near future, focuses on a mother's decision to undergo a radical procedure to ensure future success for her school age daughter.
Following the movie, PbP-LA members hosted an after party at Little Tokyo's Wolf and Crane.
