TICKETS ON SALE

SEPTEMBER 16TH 2021

Plate by Plate is returning this year but ON A BOAT! The event will be benefiting our beneficiary partner, Think!Chinatown. You’ll get unlimited food and drinks (from just one restaurant partner this year!), a casino night, a silent auction, lots of entertainment, bumpin’ music, and stations where you can learn more about our 2021 Campaign: Asian Americans & The Environment. Get excited!

Early bird tickets are launching next week on Thursday, September 16th for $110—our lowest possible price, available for one day only! Tickets will be available online but early bird tickets are only available in person during our ticket launch party on September 16th, 6:30pm-10pm at The Three Monkeys

Plate by Plate is the oldest and largest Asian American-run tasting benefit in the nation, and the only one of its grandeur that is organized entirely by volunteers. At Plate by Plate NYC, you'll eat and drink to your heart’s content, engage in stimulating conversation, participate in our silent auction, enjoy unique experiences and receive free entry to our after-party to dance the night away. Proof of vaccination will be required to enter.

This year, Project by Project NY is partnering with Think!Chinatown to enable sustainability, environmental justice and empowerment across NYC.

What’s different this year?

Plate by Plate will be held on a boat for the first time in history! In light of the environment and the impact it had on the restaurant industry, this year's Plate by Plate will not be a walk around tasting but will be in an airy and open space with four floors for guests to explore.

Our “Plate by Plate on a boat” will be catered by the Liberty Belle, featuring an Italian menu that includes dinner, dessert, coffee, tea and multiple open bars. Eat, drink, dance, and try your luck with a $10 raffle included in your ticket price at the play casino tables along the NYC skyline to benefit two charities (Think!Chinatown and Project by Project)!

About Our Campaign (2021)

Our 2021 campaign focuses on Asian Americans & the Environment. At PbP, We believe tackling environmental issues is about more than just reducing our carbon footprint, but doing so alongside economic and social empowerment and equity. We plan to address both Environmental Justice and Climate Change - two areas that are closely intertwined with each other.

About Our Partner: Think!Chinatown

Think!Chinatown is here to listen, to respond, and to build Manhattan Chinatown’s capacities as a strong and vibrant immigrant neighborhood of NYC. They plan to combat increasing gentrification and champion Environmental Justice by building out a civics team to engage with and educate the Chinatown community on these issues. In addition, their mission is to foster intergenerational community through neighborhood engagement, storytelling and the arts.
