Dear
PbP Friends and Supporters,
As 2004
comes to a close, I'd like to give special
thanks to our Steering Committee members,
our volunteers, our donors and our supporters
for their belief in PbP and its mission
to help Asian American non-profits raise
awareness, funds and volunteerism.
Our volunteers worked
hard, had fun and embraced the spirit
of volunteerism this past year. In addition
to the graphic design, technical, architecture,
business development and PR expertise
donated by our young professional volunteers,
with your support, PbP raised $22,000
in funds for The DISKovery Center.
As a PbP volunteer for
the past 3 years, it has been a truly
amazing experience for me to watch this
organization grow from an initial team
of eight volunteers to an organization
of hundreds of young professionals.
This past year, PbP continued on its
growth path by successfully hosting
our 2nd Annual Food and Wine Tasting
Benefit, increasing our donation amount
to our partner compared to previous
years, and doubling our Steering Committee
team and volunteer base.
It has been a pleasure
and honor to serve as PbP's 2004 President,
and I look forward to watching the organization's
continual growth under the new leadership
of our 2005 President, Wendy Lin, and
our 2005 Steering Committee.
Happy
Holidays,
Jennifer
Lin

II. Upcoming Events - CSCYP Holiday Party needs
your help!
|
|
| The
Chinatown Service Center Youth Program(CSCYP),
our 2002 partner, needs your help!
CSCYP is throwing their annual youth holiday
party and are struggling to find toy/supply
donations for their middle school and high school
youth. They are also in need of funds for food
or food donations, and need volunteers in various
shifts to set up, play games, clean up, and
drive youth home. In the spirit of the holidays,
if you are able to volunteer your time or make
a monetary or in-kind donation to CSCYP's Holiday
Party, contact jeff.huang@projectbyproject.org.

III. Volunteer Mixer - Thanks. |
|

|
Thanks
to all who attended our Volunteer Mixer on November 18th
at the REDCAT theater. Attendees were able to meet and
mingle with our current Steering Committee members while
learning more about getting involved with PbP. Project
by Project also honored Davis Park, the program director
for the DISKovery Center, with a check for $22,000 as
our 2004 donation giving amount. For those who were unable
to attend the mixer, but would still like to get involved
with Project by Project, please send an email to volunteer.sc@projectbyproject.org
to learn more. |
