I. 2004 DISKovery Kick Off Benefit.

PbP and the DISKovery Center celebrated the start of their 2004 partnership at our Kickoff Benefit, held on February 17th at the Stephen Cohen Gallery.  Guests were treated to a complimentary wine tasting by Kobrand Wines and appetizers from Valentino Restaurant, and were able to browse the gallery’s latest photo exhibit.   Project by Project and DISKovery staff and students spoke to attendees about their 2004 campaign and how to get involved.  Thanks to all who attended!  All net proceeds from ticket sales and the raffle will benefit the DISKovery Center.

  II. DISKovery Volunteer Orientation.
Approximately 35 people attended our Volunteer Orientation held at the DISKovery Center in Little Tokyo on Saturday, February 21st.  PbP and DISKovery staff were on-hand to speak with participants about the numerous volunteer opportunities available with both organizations this year.  It’s not too late to help!  See below for more open opportunities to apply your skills (or learn new ones) to benefit a good cause!  Click here to learn more about the DISKovery Center.
