Save the Date: Plate by Plate - Project by Project's 8th Annual Tasting Benefit is on August 14th, 2010!
Monday, 10 May 2010 10:21
After years of success in hosting its signature event, in both New York City and in Los Angeles, Project by Project is thrilled to host its Eighth Annual Tasting Benefit on August 14, 2010. This year, Project by Project's partner is the Health Justice Network, a non-profit, community-based organization who serves as a collaborative voice for the API community to advance a pro-active agenda around health disparities and the right to quality health services, while growing community leadership and developing advocacy potential in individuals and organizations. This signature gala will once again showcase savory food and dessert delicacies prepared by talented chefs from the best restaurants in Los Angeles, as well as samplings from premier wineries and beverage companies.
Stay tuned for the latest 2010 Plate by Plate news. Or check out www.platebyplate.org to see our 2009 Plate by Plate event photos.

Volunteer Opportunity: Breast Cancer Walk - May 9th
Tuesday, 20 April 2010 10:16
Our second volunteer opportunity coming up next month! On May 9th we will be supporting Heath Justice Network's member organization, Network of Strength, with their annual "Walk to Empower" Breast Cancer Walk. May 9th is Mother's Day, but this event is only a few hours that morning. You'll be able to join your mom for lunch / dinner and tell her you supported an organization that directly addresses Breast Cancer. It will make your mom proud!
Thanks to each and every one of you! We had a blast last night! We hope you had a great time as much as we did. Most importantly, we hope you have briefly learned about our 2010 partner - Health Justice Network - and have met some of the most remarkable health care non-profit organization leaders in the Asian and Pacific Islander community. More information can be found here: Health Justice Network
For those who missed the partner kickoff last night, we hope to see you the next time.
