You need JavaScript enabled to view it February 20, 2003 Project by Project Southern California Announces Charity Events for First Half of 2003 Volunteer Driven Fundraising Efforts to Benefit Chinatown Service Center Youth Program Los Angeles, CA – February 20, 2003 – Project by Project Southern California (PbPSC), the West Coast Chapter of a national non-profit partner organization announced today its fundraising plans for the first half of 2003. As part of its partnership agreement with Chinatown Service Center (CSC) to strengthen youth programs in Southern California, PbPSC is hosting two spectacular events with the net proceeds to benefit its partner, CSC Youth Program. Twilight- An Evening of Jazz at Les Deux Café in Hollywood, CA Thursday, March 13, 2003 (7:00pm to 1:00am) - Project by Project Southern California (PbPSC) invites you to a benefit evening of jazz and art, at Les Deux Cafe, located at 1638 N. Las Palmas Avenue, Hollywood, CA 90028 from 7:00pm to 1:00am. This event will feature the art defining photography of Stephen Verona and the sensational music of Marcus Lamar Miller and D.J. Magu the Subtle Navigator. Suggested donation is $20. PbPSC First Annual Food & Wine Tasting Benefit at Astra West in West Hollywood CA Friday, May 16, 2003 (7:30pm to 11:00pm) – Also coming up is PbPSC’s First Annual Food and Wine Tasting Benefit, which will be held at Astra West, in the remarkable Pacific Design Center located at 8687 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood, CA 90069. This exciting event will feature celebrated chefs from top notch restaurants around the world, including Astra West, Eleven Madison, Craft, The Globe, Mako Sushi, etc., choice wine samples from a dozen wineries and an expansive silent auction with goods and services from renown vendors. Event Chair, Kerry Heffernan, executive chef of Eleven Madison Restaurant in New York, will be hosting the event. Presale tickets on sale starting March 13, 2003. Currently, the program serves approximately 60 youths through various programs that meet the needs of the youth community. Program participants range from upper elementary to high school aged kids.
