Bernard has had an extensive finance background from early in his career – from accounting, to corporate finance, restructuring, and corporate development. Since then, he's transitioned to operations, strategic planning, business development, and now, general management. He is currently serving as Vice President, Video for IGN Entertainment, a division of FOX Interactive Media, so he's heading up the strategic planning, product development, video production, video content acquisition, and video content syndication efforts for the video side of a consumer internet property which includes www.ign.com, www.gamespy.com, www.rottentomatoes.com, and www.askmen.com. As for volunteer experience, he has been involved with CauseConnext, a facebook group connecting volunteers with non-profits, the Big Sibling Program of San Francisco, a mentoring organization for Asian American youth, and Tax-Aid, a free tax return preparation program for low-income taxpayers. |
