2009 PbP NY Partner Kick-Off & Volunteer Open House


Join Project by Project (PbP) on Wednesday July 1st as we kick-off our 2009 campaign with our partner – Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE). This year we've teamed up to tackle the challenging economy and invite you to come learn more about PbP and AAFE and the exciting volunteer opportunities available!

Project by Project is a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization of social entrepreneurs that serves Asian American non-profits in need by raising public awareness, volunteerism, and capital. Each year, each local chapter partners with a community-based organization and tailors a year-long campaign to help its fundraising, community outreach, and public awareness efforts.

Asian Americans for Equality is a 501(c)(3) community-based, not-for-profit organization established in 1974 that is committed to community service and the empowerment of immigrants, low-income families, and minorities throughout New York City. AAFE serves thousands of seniors and low-income and working families each year, offering programs that encompass the organization's comprehensive approach to community development, including housing, immigration and social services, community planning, community education and advocacy, home ownership assistance, and small business development.
