Asian CineVision, Inc (ACV) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) national
media arts
organization dedicated to the promotion and development of Asian
American film and video arts founded in 1976. In addition to ACV's
Asian American International Film Festival, the first and
longest-running festival to showcase Asian and Asian America media
works in the United States, its year-round activities include film and
video exhibitions and programs, touring film series, mentoring and
educational outreach, training workshops, networking salons,
publications and a film archive. ACV is the publisher of CineVue, a
journal dedicated to Asian American media arts. CineVue informs
readers about current developments and activities in the world of
Asian and Asian American film and video. The magazine features
in-depth reporting, exclusive interviews, work-in-progress updates and
essays by prominent critics and media artists.
Project by
Project is proud to partner with ACV in 2006. This year
marks ACV's 30th anniversary celebration in service to the promotion
of Asian-American media arts.
