On August 6th, 2005, Project by Project had its Third Volleyball Tournament held in the Main and Auxiliary Gymnasiums at Baruch College . Eight teams came to serve up some fun in our co-ed 6-on-6 round robin tournament. A few teams from last year were once again competing in the tournament, including The Tribe, 2004's champions, who were returning to defend their title.

All the teams made it to the playoffs and as the competition continued, the race for the championship began to step up a notch or two. Match play at this level of competition is intense and the action is hard-hitting and fast-paced. Once again, The Tribe made their way to the finals where they faced EZ-Pass. Both teams played with a fiery intensity and resolve that took the match to an exciting three-set thriller. In the end, EZ Pass prevailed over the defending champions and took home the 2005 Project by Project Volleyball Champion title.

Spectators truly enjoyed the thrill of competitive sport as many people stuck around to the end. Congratulations to the winning teams! We thank all of our players, spectators, and sponsors that helped make the event such a success.
