The countdown has officially begun - Project by Project LA is less than two months away from hosting its 9th Annual Food & Wine Tasting Benefit, Plate by Plate, to benefit the Asian Youth Center!

The benefit will feature an evening of culinary delights and beverages, graciously provided by over 40 master chefs and noted beverage purveyors, and will take place at the beautiful Vibiana on Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm (including an exclusive preview for VIP from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm).

Attendees will have an opportunity to sample delicious masterpieces from savory food and dessert tasting stations. In addition, the event will also feature wine and beverage tastings, as well as a Silent Auction of premier items, including gift certificate donations from many of the participating restaurants and beverage purveyors.

This year’s participating restaurants and purveyors include: Fraiche, Jar, Church and State, Pizzeria Ortica, Maison Akira, Veev, Firestone Brewery, Izze and many many more.

More than just a night of fine wine and dining, Plate by Plate is Project by Project’s signature event and primary means of raising funds for its 2011 partner, the Asian Youth Center, a community-based organization serving the social services needs of youth and families, with a focus on Asian immigrants. In keeping with its tradition, PbP plans to contribute all net ticket sales proceeds from this event to the Asian Youth Center.
