Volunteers can tutor Math, Literacy, or both. The House is asking for tutors to commit to coming every Saturday until the end of the program year in June. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis and can be worked out with the Volunteer Coordinator and the Saturday Program Coordinator.
The medical form is required for all volunteers who will be working with children. The form pretty much checks that you're up to speed with immunizations etc, but please note that the PPD test for TB does need to be current within the past six months, so sometimes people will need to make an appointment with their doctor to take care of this.

Volunteer Handbook - It covers what to do in the event of an emergency, general etiquette, what we expect, what the volunteer can expect, etc. The back cover is a volunteer agreement signed by the volunteer, myself, and the volunteer's direct supervisor. This agreement is only used when volunteers will be participating in ongoing positions, not for one time events such as parties.
