Join us on Thursday, June 18th at BottleRock Downtown to launch ticket sales and our 7-Day Stimulus Special for the 7th Annual Tasting Benefit -- Plate by Plate!

Come celebrate the 2009 Plate by Plate kickoff and receive our one-night-only additional discount on Plate by Plate tickets! Mingle with PbP + our 2009 partner, the Asian Pacific Islander Small Business Program (API SBP).

Music entertainment will be provided by DJ Denkym.

PbP's Plate by Plate tasting benefit will be held on August 1st, 2009 at the California Science Center. Going on its seventh year, Plate by Plate has consistently featured numerous renowned chefs and premier beverage purveyors every year, as well as attracted a multitude of guests and celebrities to the annual celebration. With an expansive silent auction, celebrity sous chefs, and live performances, Plate by Plate is truly one sizzling summer event not to be missed!

All net proceeds from the ticket sales of this year’s benefit will benefit our 2009 partner organization, the Asian Pacific Islander Small Business Program (API SBP), a non-profit, community-based organization whose mission is to assist the development of small and micro businesses of the Asian Pacific American community.

Description

BottleRock Downtown LA is interwoven with organic elements such as green tones, tree trunk tables, and counter tops embedded with recycled wine and beer bottles. Housed inside the gorgeous new Metropolitan Lofts on 11th between Hope and Flower, BottleRock will boast a wine list of close to 1,000 selections, an extensive beer list including a dozen different microbrews on tap, and a full open-air kitchen manned by Executive Chef Jared Levy. With over 4,000 square-feet of space designed by Ernie Roth of Roth Interiors, the new space is located at a prime location just steps away from the Staples Center and the new L.A. Live, "BottleRock will truly be inviting guests to rock out with their cork out, which has always been our mantra," comments General Manager and Wine Director George Skorka.
