Description
New York City's Katra serves Middle East, Moroccan fusion style tapas designed by Chef Jonathan Lindenauer of Jean Georges. The kitchen is open till 2am. The lounge plays European techno and Middle-Eastern hip-hop to regular beats and has a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.
The décor at Katra is Moroccan styled with all the furnishings brought back from Morocco. Pillow-strewn couches and intimate nooks dot the lounge. The mood is laidback with a distinct Middle-Eastern vibe. The cocktail list is Middle-Eastern in origin and has distinct flavors like pomegranate, lychee and lavender blossom.
