Over the years Project by Project has been fortunate to be able to help many organizations and touch the lives of the individuals who benefit from the services offered through these organizations. Having accomplished these tasks has been a gratifying experience and we are humbled to be recognized for our efforts in the community of our peers.

2003
  • In January 2003, TV network CBS2 in New York named Project by Project (PbP) New York as a recipient of its "Fulfilling the Dream" Award. This honor is awarded each year in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday to ten organizations or individuals in the tri-state area that actively contribute to and make a significant impact on the community.
  •
2002
  • On February 16, 2002, PbP New York participated in the annual conference of the Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Student Association (ITASA) at Harvard University. PbP was approached by ITASA to run two one-hour workshops focused on how to found and grow an urban non-profit organization.

2001
  • On June 15, 2001, PbP was honored as one of three beneficiary organizations at the Fourth Annual Bridge Builder Asian American Leadership Awards Gala Benefit. Beneficiary organizations were selected based on their unique leadership, diligent advocacy and distinctive and original programming.

Each member of PbP's 2001 Steering Committee was awarded a State of New York Executive Chamber Certificate of Merit. This award honors the acts of community volunteerism and the dedicated efforts of PbP on behalf of those less fortunate.
